Terms & Conditions

1. Refund Policy

All students enrolled in any Excelsium course may cancel this agreement without penalty and receive a full refund equal to the purchase price if requested in writing (email) no later than 3 days (72 hours) prior to the start of the course. Such requests shall be made to contact@excelsiumprep.com with the email subject “REFUND REQUEST [CLASS START DATE – CLASS START TIME (EASTERN TIME)].” In the body of the email include your name and purchase confirmation number.

Due to each class consisting of limited seats and agreements we have with other companies to provide our students with the best practice materials at the best rate, all requests made within 3 days (72 hours) of the beginning of the course are subject to a partial refund consisting of the purchase price minus the retail value of the practice material ($539) + $100 fee for occupying a seat. The subscription to UWORLD and ALTIUS materials is nonrefundable and become property of the student from 3 days (72 hours) prior to the start of the course.

Once a course begins, refund requests are subject to the above fee ($639) + $18/each hour of the course elapsed.

2. Right to Reschedule

In the event that the course instructor is unable to attend their scheduled class session and no substitute instructor is available, Excelsium permits its instructor to postpone the session to the next scheduled session. In such event, the course timeline will be extended equivalent to having an eleventh (11) session. This can happen no more than two (2) times in the lifetime of the course. If this limit is to be exceeded, all students are provided a full refund of their purchase price.

3. Attendance and No Show

Live attendance for any session is not mandatory and recordings will be made available to students for up to four (4) weeks after the end of the course. In the event that no student attends live, defined as no student present in the first fifteen (15) minutes following the scheduled session start time, the session will be dissolved. There will be no makeup session or recording of the respective content made available.

4. Information and Non-Compete

Student understands that all materials, methods, publications, software programs, all content displayed by or contained within any software program, all instruments and any other items—oral, written, audiovisual, or otherwise—constitute proprietary information owned solely by Excelsium and as such cannot be reprinted, used, shared, distributed or disseminated in any way whatsoever without express written consent from Excelsium LLC. In consideration of access to the above described, Student agrees to not write, edit or publish MCAT preparation materials, or to mentor, teach, or otherwise engage in employment, or independent contract work, of any kind whatsoever with any Excelsium competitor, or to be self-employed in any such activities related to MCAT mentoring or test preparation, for a period of two (2) years from the date of their last interaction as Student or Instructor in any Excelsium program.

5. Right to Refuse Service

Excelsium reserves the right to refuse service to any person for any reason. If at any time Student is deemed by Excelsium staff to be disruptive to the program, abusive to other students, mentors, or is otherwise interfering with the smooth operation of the program, Excelsium may dismiss the student without a refund or any additional recourse.

6. Severability

If any portion, clause, or subsection of these terms and conditions is deemed by an arbiter or court of law to be invalid or unenforceable, such ruling shall not in any way limit the validity and enforceability of any other clause within this agreement.

7. Complete Agreement

These terms and conditions represent the complete agreement between Excelsium and Student. No other agreements, oral, written, implied, or otherwise, exist between these parties.
